A month ago I applied to TAPIF, a program that sends English-speakers to France. I feel pretty confident about my application, having spent a year abroad, and given my high level of French and background as a supplemental instructor for French since 2009, I think I can make it in. Still, that doesn’t stop me from being a little bit afraid. I’ve been trying to keep my hopes down, but I’ve been googling blogs by other TAPIF assistants for the past two days. So much for weighing down my expectations! Oops.
The académies that I wanted were:
- Pas de préférence
Lyon is supposed to be highly competitive, and even if I’m not put there I’ll be happy.
So, in the meantime I’m going to try to cool down my hype.
